NSW Supreme Court homepage Queensland Floods Class Action Some within this site may be interested in this, as this case affects thousands of people when flood waters peaked 4--46 mts after more then 350 mm of rain over a few days in 2011.. The end result is well known.. .. 4 days can wipe a investor out if the insurance plays games..,so it looks like this Friday after the Judge has walked away after his summary of his Judgement and the class action we signed up for will know ''IF'' after they have a copy of his written judgement we will know if it's in favour of the plaintiff's..imho.. That's what happens ,the one next too the 2nd level brick is one i rebuilt over 5 months once we were told several times we were not covered for that type of flood..
Queensland Floods Class Action A lot of people would be watching the outcome in a very short amount of time on the way the dice end up landing ..Myself i'm not worried anymore ,we were never paid by the insurance company we used, not one cent from the Qld Government only free water from the BCC on 2 properties ..If this does go through then it will open up another can of worms with the ones that were given massive handouts to rebuild and re-locate who are also on the claims list..good luck..
Yes it looks that way,but until that check is in the account and cleared then it will be finished.. In one street three Men who went through the floods with me are all dead now.. One was with Sun-corp ,took a cash payout ,rebuilt then sold then went too SEAsia bought a beach-front motel and was killed in a tidal wave.. Another was murdered about a years ago .. Another took his own life and left a nine year son alone.. Only found out yesterday from the Thai Lady who runs a beauty and make up from the property next door when fixing up the HWS that i replaced in 2011 that another person three doors up also passed away before this judgement today..
