Anyone know a site where you can get 20 year charts from . 10 year charts don't show the whole story in Brisbane at the moment .

Corelogic. They will sell you anything involving data as big and broad or as narrow as you define.

This is from the ABS data Sep 2003 - Dec 2020. Using 2011-12 as the base (100).
    Data is attached.

It is interesting to see how Sydney and Melbourne are moving gracefully together.

    Hi Cliff,

PropertyDirector provides charts going back 40 years covering all suburbs in Australia.

You can compare up to 6 suburbs at once, which is visualised in a chart - see attached an example for 4 suburbs in Queensland showing the median price per suburb going back 40 years.

The price for PropertyDirector won't cost you an arm and a leg when compared to the traditional data suppliers like Core Logic. And you get access to all suburbs at once in PropertyDirector.

I know members on the forum here personally who use PropertyDirector and have found it valuable for the situation you've described.

If you'd like to know more, you can go to Register | PropertyDirector or you can PM me here on the forums.

Ta. So to me, looking at that chart, apart from 2002-2008, Logan hasn't performed in the last 40 years.

Hahah yep - I was actually going to buy a property in the Logan area around 2014 (a townhouse in Eagleby specifically) but decided not to ultimately - I checked out the area and although the area had some great rental yields, it did not sufficiently tick all the right boxes.

Definitely. There are many better areas in other parts of QLD.
