Astounding! I wonder what the fibro shack next door would sell for if it was put on the market.

Whoa, it seems that Blacktown will be the next multi million dollar suburbs like Kellyville and the Hills.

Yep the surest way to pick a suburb is to buy in ones that have their names in bold.

The question is what will these houses sell for when the Sydney boom ends?

Lots of people have not seen a downturn but it will come......

I bought in Kellyville in 2013. House has been valued at $565k more than I paid, in 2.5yrs.
I am 400m from the new train station tho.
Not a good area to buy in now if you're looking for much growth, its pretty much hit its peak.
In saying that, you'll get a better house for your money compared to Blacktown.

This is not what my search results tell me. Well, better 'looking' house, may be. Better 'value' house, may be not.

Yeh, I should have made that clearer. There is little value in buying in Kellyville right now.
I bought at the right time.
Blacktown is definitely better 'value' with gains to be had yet, for the investor.
If you're after a 'forever house', with no intention of renting it out etc, Kellyville is good.

dont worry im sure someone will be along shortly to defend this particular example of sydney's stupid house pricing and explain how it's a good thing.

Quakers Hill ticks all the boxes and its valued lower than it deserves

Places I bought there approx. 4 years ago have all more than doubled. Not sure I would be buying there now though.

Some people thinks the postage land itself is worth 280k+ and it has water views from Butler

    Great buy!

I regret not buying a house in Kellyville/ Kings langley and instead buying a unit in Baulkham hills
