I still take a keen interest in all things real estate even though retired ... this months 'Money' magazine has 12 pages of interesting and detailed information on '100 Suburbs set to Boom' which may interest investors ... covers all budgets $500K to over 1 million.

I was disappointed with it- many of the "suburbs" are country regionals

800k for Oatley would have to be apartments?

Whenever top 100 or top 10 or top 2248 is mentioned it's usually unreliable info

Imo the best places to buy which will outperform are rarely published in a public article. They are found by applying your own DD analysis and or networking closely with players on the ground.

Haven’t seen the list , but north narabeen , seriously . I work one suburb away and I can’t see one reason why north narrabeen is in anyway insulated from the down turn thats affecting the rest of the northern beaches , and Sydney as a whole ..

I was disappointed as I don't consider country towns as suburbs. I felt the title was misleading

A fair few Shire 'burbs got a mention - Menai, Bangor, Loftus, Kareela, Grays Point.

Should tell the author to shut up, can't have the rest of the country moving in...

There's more bush around it which provides a little more insulation?

    It's on the insular peninsula?
