Just assign some funds and treat it like casual gambling but at least you can claim any losses on your tax. I have a big CGT event coming up so any losses I crystallise will help to offset the gains. You can't claim your losses at the casino so I prefer the stock market. Keep a core investment of safe ETFs/LICs etc and allocate 50-300k in speculative stocks. This will make your life interesting and give you a nice payday if it bags. Worst case scenario is you will have some nice capital losses to use on your tax return for any future CGT events ;)

Ah the greatest pumper to post on here :p

Same here, last top-up was $10K when SP was $2.75. Hard to see where to go from there but today was a bit of a breather following last week.

The company is progressing well and fundamentals are only getting better. IMHO, the SP drop can be attributed to a weaker appetite from retail investors, but ultimately with the following underlying causes:

    - Nasdaq and Biotech sector hammered over 12 months (RAC held better than most peers until now).
    - Macroeconomics: Fed increasing rates. Credit tightening. War in Ukraine.
    - Big RAC seller is not finished selling, and this has killed the buyer side.

It is very annoying to see the SP go against fundamentals. The question is when will this stop. Hoping it will bottom out at $A2.00, but only time will tell.

My tip is to dump RAC and put it all into CXO (not advice)

It looks like CXO is at the top of its exponential growth and starting to stall. Anything particular that makes it a good buy moving forward?

Biotechs have been smashed!!! I think there’s some great buying opportunities.

I sold down my portfolio between April 2021 and early Jan 2022. If I hadn’t purchased AGL at the end of December 2021 my portfolio would be pretty red.

I’ve bought PAB at 2.2c and 1MC at 3.3c. The rest I’m just holding.

As for RAC, I’ve been on the sidelines for a while but still cannot see enough to take a position. When I say position in speculative stocks I mean $1,500-$3,000 :D

As I’ve said before, RAC has been ramped and pumped and has not delivered anything of material substance. I genuinely feel sorry for those who were duped to buy in at the high and I hope they can at least recoup their capital.

Unfirtuantely sold out a few mths ago.

I spotted it looking for a Lithium corp. It was priced as a lithium explorer with an profit producing gold mine.
What then happened is the lithium mine ends up being in the top 5 world wide.
If it goes to 80c before splitting I may have another go.

The releases are compelling reading, if I was diagnosed termial AML they would be my next call asking if I can be a guinea pig for the trial.
The problem imo has always been directors and management.
As soon as it hit a new goal they diluted shareholders for themselves.
That's just my opinion of course.

No doubt about it. A few here would be seriously down on RAC.

I myself threw $5k at ILA based on forum speculation. Totally accepting responsibility for it and only $5k but 40% down on that one.

I can’t see RAC going to zero but to hit $4 again it is totally reliant on very good results and growing fundamentals. RAC was spruiked in my opinion.
