Very sorry for your loss and to hear your father is suffering.

I was diagnosed with cancer just a short time after I started building a position in RAC. Fortunately identified early enough that surgery dealt with it. I also lost my mum to cancer 2 weeks after she was diagnosed.

Due to those experiences I doubled down on my DD. Hundreds of hours of research.

There are many different proteins that play a role in cancer and the focus is on drugs now that can address sub-types in different locations of the body. This protein is certainly turning out to be one of the important ones as it is central to cancer growth.

Answering your question? Departures from position and his investment could perhaps be more to do with embarrassment about the original failed strategy.

I also think Dr Tillett was absolutely focused on making sure the company was rebuilt with the team needed to make it a success. Have a look at the gradual build of the team with high-caliber people ( board, key management, staff ). He also basically sacked the Regulatory Advisor responsible for the failed FDA IND in 2019 and found better advisors.

As an aside read this article and research the drugs Keytruda, Opdivo and the other PD-1 inhibitors.

The Startling History Behind Merck's New Cancer Blockbuster

RAC looks like they are opening up a massive new market that will match or exceed the size of the PD-1 inhibitor market due to all the following potential drug class synergies indicated by research.

Investment in Biotechs can be high risk.
If you invest in Biotechs and Biomedical Device companies, consider familiarising yourself with the Consort Guidelines.
They will help you to more objectively assess the information released by Biotech and Biomedical Device companies, particularly for Preclinical/Clinical Plans, Preclinical Results and Clinical Trials.

Amazing stuff, and it takes some chewing for my slow brain to digest.

Glad you are healthy, please stay that way!

The learning about new fields is one thing that makes investing in startup/emerging companies incredibly interesting.

Great action today, with volume exceeding what was seen around the same time last year, when SP was near ATH. Hopefully the SP can find a new support not too far from this level! (wouldn't mind if it's further north :)

This is so true! I've been in and out of RAC a few times now. I last sold RAC at $3.58 and now have a buy order in for $3.14. It's much safer and boring to buy index funds but I love the buzz from gambling plus I can write off any losses against my tax.

Or the insiders push the good news to create demand so they can sell out their positions.

It is a former director that is selling, not an insider. This director resigned 11.5 months ago so is not an insider.
    1. The recent Melanoma preclinical study was started 5 months (mid March) after this director left the company.
    2. The former director has no control over whether or not the results of preclinical study started 5 months after he left the company will be good or not.
    3. The former director has no control over when the US Patent Office awards patents.

The 43c share price valuation back in March was obviously way overvalued with a market cap >$1Bn
What do you think a fair valuation is following the DFS and Mining grant
