    You seem to have a bit of a passion for it though, could put it to good use. Can't recall whether you still have a day job or not. I think if they deal with this stuff everyday they're more inclined to see what gets through and what doesn't, though.

    Like every field and every profession though, there's always bad, good and great.

    I still have a day job...that is the issue...it pays well. Probably better than 99% of mortgage brokers.

    Agree that there are good and bad people in every profession. The issue I have is the smugness of some. There are easy pickings from the newbies....they won't know what has happened from a structural perspective. Having said that it is also important to understanding the finance side well. Otherwise it will become an issue increasing the size of the portfolio later. I am nearly at 26+ properties with fuel still in the tank as a result. My income is now only less than 30% of my total gross income..soon it will hit 20%.. And out of this income 20% is bonus...so there you go...

    @sash,
    This forum and somersoft before it is a great place to learn about property investing. It's great to hear about your experience, but it seems when you get called on things (you most likely truly believe), like macbank paying better comm than others or submitting an essay instead of a loan application, or pretending money in your offset account gets your loan approved etc You get all petulant and petty. its just about sharing (correct) information. its what's so good about this site.

    No just ensuring that people understand the facts....thats all.

    You are taking it way too personally.....as a matter of fact in the last 2 weeks I directed some people to some of my funders.

    Sorry that I am cutting your grass ...but hey its about ensuring people get more places.

    It might be better that you focus something more productive.

    My grass isn't here. The issue is your facts are incorrect, and you can't be told. All the best recruiting customers for your funders.
