im a moderate james bond fan, but I really dislike just about everything Daniel craig and his association with bond.

apparently the latest one is a abysmal, (but I will watch it)

I really liked skyfall very very much, but his first 2 I thought were atroscious,

boring and nothing like the 007 brand

I liked Casino Royale but I thought QoS was a real mess.

Apart from Casino Royale, I agree.

Casino Royal was great I've watched that movie heaps of times and if it's on TV will watch the rest of it.

Qos was pretty bad from what I remember

Interestingly, the Matt Damon version of Jason Bourne lost pretty much the entire actual plot of the books. The books revolved around the banking industry, and the bad guy is Carlos the Jackal. The plot was very dependent on events and technology of the '70s, so obviously needed some serious modification to modernize.

I quite enjoyed what they did with it as an action movie, and it was way less broody than the Richard Chamberlain mini series.

    Cheers,
    Inertia

Geeze, can you imagine if they had him in the movies? Is he even still alive?

Casino Royale was good, QoS and Skyfall were atrocious. Looking forward to Spectre nonetheless :p.

Who is everyone's favourite James Bond?

Pierce Brosnan was by far the best Bond in my opinion. Goldeneye is my favourite Bond movie.

Agree on all points except goldeneye being the best. Moore was also good. Casino royale was the best with living daylights, from Russia with love, octopussy and for your eyes only.

I prefer Daniel Craig over the previous James Bonds because he brought a rough, and often mean grit to the franchise that I felt had been missing in previous movies.

But apparently this one isn't an official 'Bond' film. Very odd.
