Geez Corio and Norlane look like a bit of a mess - Still really good value if you got in and bought a house there with a 2 in front of it.
Looking back...My $270k purchase for a nice house in Corio is looking like a great investment so far :D
Already have some people screaming how this will lead to another United States housing bubble situation from the 90s. :D
Cashed up with hundreds of thousands in the bank. Looking forward to a small dip in prices.
Yeah around 2016-2017 was the perfect time to get into it. I get that Corio isn't a premium Geelong suburb, however if you could get something for...
Up 10%. So I lost my job in late March and was probably one of the luckier ones to find new employment. ...And that new opportunity translated...

Apartments have taken a hit in Box Hill (Vic) Probably not expected due to supply.
I'm all cashed up ready to buy around late this year/early next year. I reckon the job keeper expiration + end of mortgage deferments will see...
Lol, welcome hyper inflation then
Pretty much my strategy. Holding plenty of precious metals, gold/silver mining stocks and property.
I'm selling my property as we speak. Hoping to get a deal done soon before even worse economic news comes out.
Stock market getting killed
three years ago though - Surely some areas have improved now?
Corio and Norlane still aren't bad at the moment. It might not be like 2016-2017 but I can see decent yields and growth for the future.
It will be interesting to see the next round of polling.
How's the market for Corio and Norlane travelling so far?
Think places like Norlane/Corio run has ended (a few months ago anyway) Time for that steady growth now. How is everyone going in Geelong?
Fantastic news! ^^ Corio and Norlane still growing I believe despite the current downturn in the market. Been a bit spoiled for the previous 30%...
Good luck to Kate. I've enjoyed reading her posts when it comes to property, and would happily vote for her if I lived in her electorate.
