Hi@Redwing, would you mind posting the sources? I can guess for one or two of them, but too lazy to Google!

But in all seriousness the wife and I watched Afterlife across 2 nights. Ricky Gervais is probably my all time favorite TV/Radio personality.
I love his early stuff (Office is the only series I have watched over 5 times) but his later stuff is brilliant. With Derek and Aferlife one minute you will be crying with laughter, next minute just blatantly crying.

Redwing. I don't get any value from just a trailer posted without comment. Would you mind please make some sort of comment about whatever it is your posting? Just a short opinion would be really helpful and very much appreciated. Thanks!

Like the IMDB synopsis @geoffw ?

Set during the Tong Wars in the late 1800s, Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy originating from China to San Francisco, ends up becoming a hatchet man for the most powerful tong in Chinatown

The show was inspired by an idea from the late actor and iconic martial artist Bruce Lee. According to an interview last month with Lee's daughter Shannon, Lee had typed up eight pages of a story concept revolving around the Tong Wars of the late 19th century, wherein dozens of criminal organizations in Chinatown ran competing opium dens, brothels and gambling rooms.

Now adapted into a TV show, "Warrior" follows the story of Ah Sahm (played by Andrew Koji), a Chinese martial arts prodigy who departs his home country under "mysterious circumstances." When he arrives in San Francisco in 1878, he becomes a hatchet man for a powerful Chinatown tong.

Based on the trailer, it's equal parts wild Western epic, kung fu action flick and historical drama.

The project was put in motion largely by executive producer Justin Lin. Lin had heard a rumor about Lee's manuscript through a colleague, and was able to confirm its existence by getting in contact with Shannon Lee. After discussing the idea, the two got in touch with another executive producer, Jonathan Tropper. Cinemax green lit the project in 2017.

That's ok. But have you seen the show? If so, what did you think? If not, did you want to watch it, and why?

I'm always on the lookout for a good show, especially if it's on Netflix, but somebody's opinion will help me better to decide.

The Ozarks. Couldn't put it down.

Think hill-billy Breaking Bad but faster moving.
