Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help with colour choices for the fences & front door..
The brick is a creamy/yellow 70's brick & I've just done the roof, gutters/trim & rollerdoor/facia in monument all, of which are brand new. I'm going to stick with the coloubond fence which is already there, that's in 3 different shades, we're adding new capping & replacing posts/rails & a few sheets.
I don't know wether to continue the monument with the fences & new front door or to try & break it up a bit, if I try & break it up I have no idea which colour to use.
    Any ideas?

This house will be going on the market soon.

Wow, no one else has responded yet. Can you please put up a photo of the front of your house so we can go to town with suggestions.

My recollections of 70s light coloured bricks are a bit hazy but it may well be the same as my childhood home - the stylist when we sold Mum's house used rich colours like red (inside) and royal blue.

Initially I think it is OK to go all Monument but this will create a lot of contrasts. If so, I would be adding in strategically located greenery. Personally I prefer three colours rather than two. After I took this photo, I think we painted the paving tiles dark grey or dark blue.

Wow I didn't see it either - and I love giving my 2 cents on colours :p

A photo would be very helpful if you can put one up.

Monument as a fence can get quite hot and may kill plans so I would consider perhaps Basalt instead

    Yay! Replies, thanks.

I haven't got an up to date photo but here's a link to a previous thread I've made about the house, though everything in the photos that was brown has been replaced with monument.
