Low price point for an entry level first IP mostly.
This complex had pretty low strata fees and good rental yield (loan pays for itself and some)...
I'm looking at picking up a second IP around the 300k - 350k mark. Probably a 2x1 or 3x1 - either an older apartment or house - ideally within 7km...
A lot more difficult to play dumb when discovered by the lender(s)... can't argue that you simply forgot to notify.
so you could have multiple OO loans with different lenders then?
I just swapped from my IP loan @ 4.7% to OO @ 3.25% on my apartment. I am living there for a few months in between tenants and it may slip my mind...
