On a business level I spent 28 years involved in the insurance industry, initially helping introduce one of the first landlord insurance policies in Australia back in 1991. Although my role changed over the years I remained involved in the RentCover range of landlord insurance policies in varying capacities until 2019.

I have owned several small businesses and continue to do so.

On a personal level I am also an investor with a number of rental properties, live on the Gold Coast, married with children and a keen sportsman still managing to get around a hockey field despite my aging body.
